The Institute of Parliamentary and Political Law is holding the Third Conference in the “Law and Parliament” series, scheduled for November 12 through 14, 2009, at the University of Toronto’s Conference Facility, at 85 Chestnut Street in Toronto.

Following up on the first two conferences held in 2004 and 2006 respectively, the timely theme of this gathering will be Parliament and Government: Partners and Adversaries.

The Institute hopes to use the conference to develop both knowledge and public awareness of this subject matter in an interdisciplinary and comparative manner.

Speakers have been selected by officials of the Institute from among those expressing an interest in participating.  A panel chair and a rapporteur have also been selected for each session.
