Electrical charge and Coulomb’s law. Electrical field and potential. Capacity, steady state, and transient currents. Electromagnetic induction and alternating currents.

Prerequisite/Corequisite:
The following courses must be completed previously: MATH 203; PHYS 204 or equivalent.
NOTE: Students in programs leading to the BSc degree may not take this course for credit to be applied to their program of concentration. See PHYS 225 for laboratory associated with this course.
